If you love birds in your yard and want to give them a little extra love I’ve found THE most stylish bird feeder out there! The Bird Silo, hailing from Finland, is a debut product from Pidät : Mika and Julie Tolvanen, who are of course, very enthusiastic bird lovers!

Although designed in Finland, as Australian’s we’re used to seeing huge shining, silver silos on the entry into most larger country towns so the Bird Silo will feel right at home in your yard. The Silo has been designed to cater to the specific eating habits of birds as well as looking stunning!

The feeder operates just like a silo. Simply lift the top cone, pour the food in from the top, and it will start to fill up from the bottom. Easy peasy! Pidät recommends delicious sunflower seeds for your backyard birds. Make sure to include with the shell still on, to protect from rain or humid weather.

The bird silo has been specifically designed for birds that cling vertically whilst eating, and is made from 100% recycled plastic. They’re available in two colours, camp green and terracotta, and hang from tree branches or beams around your home.
