Every project starts with a decision.
Some decisions create opportunity.
Others quietly introduce risk.
Travaux helps developers, builders and property owners make better decisions before significant time, money and commitment are invested.

Travaux helps developers, builders and property owners make better decisions before significant time, money and commitment are invested.
Inspired by the French concept of travaux préparatoires – the planning and prepartory works that make construction possible – Travaux exists because we believe the most important work on any project happens before construction begins.
Projects rarely fail because someone poured the concrete incorrectly.
More often, problems begin much earlier – through unrealistic feasibility assumptions, planning complexity, consultant coordination, procurement decisions or delivery risks that were never properly identified or ignored because they’ll “sort themselves out on site”.
Our role is to improve the quality of those decisions.
We help transform ideas into projects that are commercially viable, coordinated and ready for delivery.
Because every successful project is built twice: first, through the decisions made before construction begins…
And then on site.
Should this project proceed?
Is there a clearer way forward?
Independent advice before major commitment.

Not every project should proceed.
Independent advice sometimes means recommending a different path.
Recommendations are based on planning, feasibility, risk and delivery realities – not optimism.
Where specialist advice is required, we coordinate with planners, architects, engineers and finance professionals to help clients make informed decisions.
Whether you’re assessing a site, reviewing a feasibility, navigating planning complexity or preparing for construction, an independent review can save significant time, cost and uncertainty later.
