One of Australia’s oldest and most respected boutique brick makers has announced the launch of its new range of bespoke, hand-crafted glazed bricks using eco-friendly firing methods.

Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers, one of Australia’s oldest and most respected boutique brick makers, has announced the launch of its new range of bespoke, hand-crafted glazed bricks. Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers is a 100% Australian-owned company producing a 100% Australian-manufactured product, and using eco-friendly firing methods at its Littlehampton factory.
The announcement from Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers describes its new range of hand-crafted glazed bricks as truly unique. The bricks are available in a range of five vibrant colours and special blends. These colours are Maris, a dark purple/black, Percy, a forest green, Laguna, a deep blue with flashes of green, Caspian, a light blue, and Lava, a sunset red. The brick dimensions are 230 x 110 x 76mm.
All the glazes used are specially formulated ceramic glazes applied to the bricks before being hard-fired onto them in our kiln at over 1100 degrees Celsius. As a result, the glazes are baked onto the bricks and will not fade or wear off in time.
While Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers have manufactured glazed bricks for many years, the new range of hand-crafted glazed bricks features unique textures, colours, and blends that were not previously available. In addition, Littlehampton Bricks and Pavers can also supply a range of special shaped bricks that can be produced with these new glazes. This process allows customers to add another dimension of creative options to their projects.
Aquarius is a blue-green blend varying from a dark purple right through some bluey-greens to a light blue. As standard Aquarius comes with an even mix of the colours – twenty-five per cent of each. But it can be adjusted as desired for your project.
Maris is the darkest colour in the glaze brick range. It’s a dark purple-black in colour with shiny little bits of glaze which glint in the sunlight.

Percy is a forest green-coloured glaze brick. So if you’re looking to add a green tone to your project, then that would be the perfect choice.

Laguna is a deep, blue-coloured glaze brick with occasional flashes of a green undertone. A lot of vibrancy in the colours of Laguna.

Caspian is the lightest glaze brick colour in our range. It’s a light blue in colour and has a few flares of undertones as well, especially when it gets direct flame when it’s fired.

Lava is the only colour which doesn’t appear in the Aquarius blend of glazed bricks. It’s a sunset red in colour and really stands out, and can add that wow factor to any project.
